Getting stuck trying to mount a Disk Image. #753

Hi, I today noticed that upon trying to mount a Disk Image the ok and cancel, as seen attached, did not action as usual. Instead, what can be seen in the attached gets stuck and when closing the BetterDisplay ok and cancel did work. It took me a while to see why this was happening but the only fix I could find is to close BetterDisplay when I face this issue but if there is another solution would be much appreciated to know more. Have you used the new HiDPI native scaling method that completely replaces dummies for the most part? This REQUIRES macOS 12.4+.

This seems to be a generic issue with virtual displays that happens to some people (3 and counting), but super hard to reproduce. Exact reasons are not known.

@smattar2020 is right, if you use dummies solely for mirroring in order to get HiDPI resolutions and flexible scaling on Apple Silicon, you might want to try the new native smooth scaling feature. Dummies are super useful for some specific use cases but generally if you only want HiDPI resolutions, the native approach is more seamless.
