Hi there,
regarding flickering: #261 regarding cursor issues in Monterey 12.5: #807
Unfortunately both are macOS issues that affect mirrored virtual screens. The best course of action is to use native smooth scaling instead of dummy mirroring which in most of the time is a superior way to get scalable HiDPI resolutions. Dummies are still useful for other use cases (and it is still required to get beyond the limitations of native smooth scaling). Follow this tutorial on the main GitHub page to get it working:

I'll convert this issue into a discussion. Let me know if you have any trouble setting this up!
Hello, Using BetterDisplay at Version 1.2.8 Build 8368 on my MB M1 Air with macOS Monterey 12.5, connected to a Dell P2423DE and I'm experiencing different issues. Both problems appear from time to time and aren't constantly there. The first one I've noticed is a slight flickering in the right upper corner of the screen which is disappearing after restarting Better Display. The Second issue is the disappearing of my mouse cursor wich happens quite often, I have to to go back and forth with my mouse until its appearing again, also I experience some lagging of the cursor at some times, it's moving in steps rather than gliding on the screen.
Best, Philip
