Keeps returning to SDDM when attempting to launch "Waydroid on Weston" session after following tutorial #53

First of all, the tutorials don't seem to mention that you have to make the script executable which might be good to add.

Even after doing that when attempting to launch a waydroid on weston session it shows the flowery background for a few seconds then returns to SDDM. When launching the script from the tty it stays on the flowery background and doesn't launch waydroid.

I just installed weston without any other configuring than adding the mentioned ~/.config/weston.ini file

Using SDDM Wayland on KDE. I do have konsole/waydroid installed.

Never mind, still boots me back to SDDM

Make sure you create all the required scripts and have them saved in their place with permissions set to execute where needed. Same with the weston.ini. Also make sure you have konsole installed as the startup script uses that terminal

I have double checked all of that and it all seems to be there.

It' doesn't work for me also.

A black screen appears for a few seconds and then goes back to SDDM.
