every time I try to click download it times out with error message

Seems to be working fine. What's the URL of the fanfic you're trying to download?

I tried multiple fics. This is the one I am currently trying at this moment. https://www.fanfiction.net/s/10038519/19/Lean-on-Me

Just tried it and it works perfectly fine for me. Try using a different browser.

I just tried firefox and it worked. Stupid chrome! It worked last week! GRRRRRRR

You could try clearing cookies and cache on Chrome and see if that helps. Glad to hear it worked though!

Just tried to use it on Chrome again and it gave me the error again. I deleted cookies beforehand. FML
