No Chapter Markers #31

This isn't so much of an issue as a suggestion, but if it's possible it would be really helpful for there to be chapter markers integrated into the MOBI when you download it. Having to go page by page to find a spot is quite a hassle.

Apart from that though, this is awesome. Thanks!

Added this in! Although you should probably find an app that saves your reading position when closing...

I read on my Kindle and it does save my spot. (Are there actually apps that don't? That sounds awful.) It's just that if I download a fic I've already started on FFN or want to switch between devices in the middle, it's really helpful for navigating to the new place. Also rereading, because I do that. :P So thanks much for adding that, you're awesome. :)

Makes sense to me - I actually do the same thing as you, but I never use MOBI files so I didn't realize what you guys were missing. Anyway, hope you continue using the site, and happy readings!

I will definitely continue to use it, I'm quite enjoying reading fics on my Kindle.

On another note, I was just reading one and noticed that for some reason quite a few words in the story were randomly missing a single letter. I figured the author was just prone to typos and didn't edit very well, but then when I popped onto FFN to review the fic I discovered that the letters are all there. So I'm not sure what that's all about...

Well, at least that fanfic seems well-written, which is more than I can say for some of the ridiculous HP fanfics I've read...

Can you tell me a specific instance of where you noticed the missing characters?

Haha, yeah. Good prose is sort of a must for me.

Yeah, I recall a specific one because it made me laugh a lot so I saved it. In chapter twelve it's supposed to say "in the woods" but in the MOBI it says "in the oods". Being a Doctor Who fan, my mental imagery went wonky and I began incessantly giggling. But anyway. Yeah. That spot. I think there was also a bit in the last chapter where it was supposed to say "crazy" but said "craz" instead.
