Feature Request: Render alternative routes in a different style #311

In mailing list (Tagging) Superroutes - good, bad or ugly? Sarah Hoffmann wrote:

In Openptmap there is a nice rendering of alternative routes controlled by tag state=alternate.

Is this possible in Waymarked Trails too? Maybe state=part could be useful for route segments.
