Running mupen64plus 1.99 in Fedora 12 #477

Describe your system:
 - Operating System (be specific): Fedora 12
 - Machine type (32-bit or 64-bit):32 bit
 - Mupen64Plus version: 1.99
 - Plugins used: none

Describe the problem:
Installed in Fedora 12 build using ./install.sh

Getting following error: Trying to launch from root directory, getting this 
error:

dlopen('./libmupen64plus.so.2') error: libpng14.so.14: cannot open shared 
object file: No such file or directory

Please provide any additional information below.

libpng-1.2.44-1.fc12.i686 is installed on the system.

I'm a novice user with Linux/Fedora. Not sure what's wrong... environment 
variables?

No, you cannot use this version (the memory allocator will not work anyway). 
Please build your own version by looking at 
http://code.google.com/p/mupen64plus/wiki/CompilingFromHg and ask questions at 
IRC ( irc.freenode.net #mupen64plus ).

This is not a bug, but just not the right version for your distribution. 
Unfortunately, fedora is not the best distribution for emulators anyway: 
http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Licensing/SoftwareTypes#Emulators
