waynepiekarski / XPlaneCDU

XPlaneCDU is a remote control interface for the Control Display Unit (CDU) present in X-Plane 11. This app does not provide an FMS, but simply a way to control the existing CDU from an Android tablet or phone. Currently it works with the Zibo Boeing 737 aircraft.

Can you tell me what text is showing on the XPlaneCDU? A screenshot would be good. That will tell us what state things are in, and where the problem could be.

DemonRem commented 6 years ago

waiting for Xplane , Becn broadcast, touch to override ,

Becn Multicast , find EXTPlane plugin, check firewall 127.0.0.1:51000

I opened the part inbound and outbound ,

Ok its connected but my phone its black nothing apperad i see in the game the fmc respond to the phone i using ultimate 737-900u

waynepiekarski commented 6 years ago

You should not be using 127.0.0.1 as the IP address for the Android app, since that is not the real address of your X-Plane machine, you wont be able to connect with that.

Can you send me a screenshot of your phone? That will help determine what is going on. Your phone should never have a black screen, there should always be some text on it with the status of what is happening.

Hello! Congratulations and thanks for the app. I have a bug in it. On the mobile it works very well, but on the tablet, it does connect but the data lines go wrong, lines go out .. How can I correct it? I would appreciate help in this regard. On the tablet it would be great. Attached screenshot of the tablet (samsung galaxy tab 2 10.1)

And by the way, it says that I have the old version and that I should update, both on my mobile and on the tablet, but in both I have the latest version of ExtPlane on the XPlane ...

Where did you download your ExtPlane plugin from? That error should not be there with any recent version made in the last year or two.

For the text, it looks like it is there, but it is squashed. There could be a bug in the font rendering on the tablet. Have you perhaps changed the default font size somewhere in the settings? I would look there, and change the font size somehow, and see if that helps.

Thanks for your quick response.

I downloaded the plugin file "ExtPlane-Master-MinGW-18Apr2018.zip" from: "http://www.tinmith.net/wayne/projects/xplane.htm" at "ExtPlane plugin: http://waynepiekarski.net/extplane".

Now, I have downloaded from "http://www.planetcoops.com/apps/xp-remote/extplane", the file "ExtPlane.zip", where it comes from: "ExtPlane -> 64 -> win.xpl" which I have replaced the one that came in the "ExtPlane-Master-MinGW-18Apr2018.zip" and now it works fine, it no longer says obsolete version.

Regarding the font size and type, I have tried all the combinations, and it remains the same. The only thing that changes is the font type of the buttons, but streaks still appear.

It works, if I write the ICAO Origin for example and press the button, it introduces it, but it cannot be seen, only the lines.
