Dire Wolf is a software "soundcard" AX.25 packet modem/TNC and APRS encoder/decoder. It can be used stand-alone to observe APRS traffic, as a tracker, digipeater, APRStt gateway, or Internet Gateway (IGate). For more information, look at the bottom 1/4 of this page and in https://github.com/wb2osz/direwolf/blob/dev/doc/README.md

Feature Request: Message for Voice Alert #110

Would it be possible to decode and log if a packet was received and had a Voice Alert CTCSS tone on? Voice Alert info: http://www.aprs.org/VoiceAlert3.html

I think this would be radio dependent... I would expect in most cases the CTCSS would be stripped out of data connections and out of speaker/mic connections. If it were passed through though, yeah Direwolf should be able to "know" that it's hearing the CTCSS tone.

However, this might be something you could handle with other software that is listening, as well. Feels like something you could do with GNURadio listening to the same stream.
