Cannot Install Packages (errno 12029)

Platform: Windows 7 64bit, ST3 I have not been able to install any packages or update them for like 2 weeks, I have a lot of packages already installed but something seems to have changed. This is what I have since I open the error log.

I have searched a lot on Google and on here and I have not found a solution.

Uninstalled everything and installed ST3 again, fresh, and now package control can't even install:

@erickbarron According to http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/aa383770(v=vs.85).aspx, it seems the WinHTTP layer is unable to connect.

I would check and see if your network security software, antivirus, or local domain policies are blocking the connection.

@wbond, Omg, finally it worked, thanks. The problem was that for some reason Bitdefender Firewall was blocking ST3.

The way I fixed it was going to Settings->Firewall->Application rules and set ST3 to allow, it had a red X on it. I have no idea why it got blocked

Bitdefender made a rule for plugin_host.exe-->deny takes me 30 min to find out when i changed it, it started to work again hope it helps somebody
