Considering severity of single Rules

With tslint 5 you can define severity for each rule. But in tslint-loader you can either emit the whole result as an error or as a warning.

Are there any updates on the issue? It's been more than a year and it was not decided if it's either rejected or accepted but there's even a Pull Request attached to it.
