Hi, thanks for reaching out. In fact, nothing changes in functionality, so you can continue to sell products normally. However, the wording has been adjusted. For example, the order summary is now called "Your Donation" instead of "Your Order", the title of the order history and the texts of the emails have also been adjusted accordingly. If this is not a problem for you, you can continue to sell normal products. Otherwise, my recommendation would be that you use a WordPress multisite or a separate WordPress installation for the donation page. Best regards, Jonas
Thank you for that feedback quite helpful..
My setup is such that each subsite represents a branch and would like would want the accounting/visibility of same to be related so that we can track donations from each branch separately e.g. subsite1, subsite2, subsite3..... (in your example if we introduce an additional subsite which ideally will be for handling all the donations - then how do we track for each incoming request subsite donation request) Also planning to provide some visibility to the donors in terms of reporting, I don't know how possible it would be to have one accounting dashboard at the mainsite so that the reports from the subsites are pulled from one place
Hello, You're plugin looks really promising and I like what I'm seeing.. I'm just wondering about a note I've seen on plugin homepage
Note: Donation Platform for WooCommerce: Fundraising & Donation Management turns WooCommerce into a donation system, parallel use as a normal store is not possible.
Is this by design or can it can be unlocked, because I would like to still use WooCommerce to push gift items as well as donations?
Regards,
