setSelectedPaths treegrid issue with IE8 #660

Hi,

I work with smartgwt 3.0
When I refresh a big selected treegrid using setSelectedPaths, this call 
generates the IE "stop running..." warning popup that is not really user 
friendly. I tried to reference my nodes using hashcodes instead of "basic" 
strings but the performance are not really better.
Is there any way to avoid this problem ?
