Cannot use either wget, conda, or mamba to install chopper #38

Excuse me. I'm currently using Apple M3 Pro, and I'm trying to download "chopper".

I tried conda install and it resulted in "PackagesNotFoundError". Using bioconda and mamba also gave the same result.

I tried wget and it stopped downloading for no reason. Only around 300 KB was downloaded.

I tried looking on every solved issue and none of the solution helped.

I have absolutely no clue what to do next. What should I do?

Did you try the wget once, or does the download stop every time? Can you download it with your internet browser?

I have tried wget several times already, and everytime it failed to download more than 300 KB. I tried changing Wifi and the results were the same.

Can you please show me your wget command?

Looks like it stopped downloading for some reasons.

Because you cannot wget the whole repository. You need to download the right binary from the releases.

e.g. wget https://github.com/wdecoster/chopper/releases/download/v0.8.0/chopper-macos.zip
