I chose A because the question stated that the EBS volumes can't pause any file writes long enough to take a snapshot. I think that if you unmount them you will be able to make a snapshot. IF the EBS isn't mounted, than it's not really doing anything. So I don't see why that wouldn't work. I'll find out after the test.

I chose Aurora because of it's ability to expand. The scenario stated that the company expects to quadruple its data capacity, while at the same time maintaining a consistent latency of 100 milliseconds. All these reasons helped solidify my reasoning behind choosing Aurora.

I chose the WAF as my answer because the scenario is talking specifically about preventing specific attack patterns that are web based. Security groups can't really do anything to prevent cross site scripting.
