Long sms is not sent out correctly or at all for 8bit or 16bit! #43

So, issue with outgoing long sms of 8bit or 16bit. Why 16 bit, because is of Cyrillic symbols. I tested as asterisk -rx "dongle sms ............." , sms is not come in at all to recipient as for Latin as for Cyrillic symbols. If it is tested with asterisk -rx "dongle pdu ............." , only first 70 symbols are come in to recipient of 16bit symbols and Latin 7bit message is come in up to 153 symbols.

Unfortunately, your bug report leaves me guessing.

What did you try? I hope you didn't try just periods (".....")..

What succeeded and what didn't? "as for Latin as for Cyrillic"? Did neither succeed? How did you specify cyrillic on the sms line? In utf-8?

So many questions, so few answers.

If you need help with this, you should at least give us something that we can reproduce. You may of course mask out your phone#, but don't hide anything else.
