The Web eID application performs cryptographic digital signing and authentication operations with electronic ID smart cards for the Web eID browser extension
We are using web eid components in our web frontend application. Users encountered randomly (not often) 'Operation failed' errors. Web eid logs indicate the operation failed is due to 'Empty PIN', Thing is, the error occurs soon after pressing 'Confirm' button in web eid app UI -- there is no PIN prompt.
Please refer to the resources below for further investigation. First item is web eid log (with UTC time). Second is the smart card driver logs (with local time UTC+1).
I reviewed the logs but couldn't figure out the problem. Thanks for the help.
