Notes

• Mobile testing and Interop 2025: call for consensus
  • stubbornella: supportive of including mobile testing. However, the person responsible for that is working on getting our infra ready internally and that’s our first priority. If the infrastructure for mobile testing is not in place by the time of launch, we can take a call at that point
  • nairnandu: does that mean we can consider the mobile proposals as part of the process?
  • jgraham: should be fine to review now. if we can’t have the infra ready, then okay to not consider mobile testing at that point.
  • stubbornella: agree
• Interop 2025 proposal selection: Champion selection
  • Team reviewed focus area proposals
  • Consensus on positions: Negative positions does not make a proposal invalid, but a negative position should be considered as a signal by the champion
  • chrishtr: Propose to include WebCompat focus area
    • jgraham: agree
    • stubbornella: WebCompat feels a bit too vague. Can we name the focus area according to the impact it has?
    • jgraham: we have used a pretty clear criteria, in the past, for WebCompat - which is end-users encountering breakages in a given area. However, one bug does not make a focus area
    • nt1m: +1 on that.
