Status of test automation and usage of cross-browser testing APIs

We have a number of action items:

• [ ] reach out to [Browser Tools & Testing WG to find out anything about usage of WebDriver endpoints added for browser testability by the general developer community]
• [ ] reach out to selenium [to do likewise]
• [ ] partner with browser engineering team(s) to find out where the process [of adding new testing APIs] sucks
• [ ] 2021 MDN DNA research design to inform test automation [needs of web developers for currently untestable areas]
• [ ] compare test only API and webdriver API cross-browser support [with cross-browser support for the underlying web API] (@stephenmcgruer said he had data here?)
