this pr proposes hiding the tabs "heatmap | violin plots" initially. they are shown only after the requests finish.

the same behavior already applies to the data download buttons.

Jakub, could you please resolve the merge conflict (it appears that the logic that makes sets each plot tab's div to be empty is repeated twice)?
