connectToSortable - Version: 1.2.4 #427

Due to diff implementation I added the property connectToSortable to the 
instance initialization of dynatree (function _initDragAndDrop(tree)).

Result, I'm able to drop nodes to ui.sortable (which is what I'm looking for) 
but ui.helper.data("dtSourceNode") == undefined, which is bad.

Any idea what could be causing this behavior?

As of 2014 Dynatree is feature frozen.
Please have a look at Fancytree (sequel of DynaTree 1.x): chances are good that 
the problem was resolved / the requested featuer is already implemented.
Please open a new issue there otherwise:
