Add endpointDescription for #10 #17

This PR adds endpointDescription on the basis of the discussion found in #10: that the current approach would have necessitated the use of "whitelists" of human- and machine-readable encodingFormats by data consumers to distinguish between them, which would have entailed unnecessary complexity and maintenance.
