Overview

Develop a secure and trustable system for Cross-Chain Registration to ensure proper identification and validation of Operators registering across Tangle and non-Tangle networks. The objective is to establish a mechanism that can verify an Operator’s identity and legitimacy when they interact with different blockchain networks.

Checklist

• [ ] Determine trust and security model for cross-chain identity verification i.e., How do we know an Operator is who they say they are?
• [ ] Design a verification mechanism to prove/verify an Operator's identity
• [ ] Integrate Operator registration validation logic
• [ ] Create safeguards against malicious registration activity
• [ ] Integration with EigenLayer's architecture

Questions

• How do we know that one operator on a non-Tangle network is running an operator on Tangle? What binds the two together?
• Does it matter to know this? Provide a counterexample/malicious interaction.
