Wanted to shift to another thread for "status". Having had roughly the same rendering experience I figured I would open an issue for rendering now that the crash bugs are resolved. @mikeprimm Feel free to close this if you do not want to use this for tracking testing.
Currently running a modded server:
Minecraft 1.10.2
Age of Engineering v1.1.2
Forge: 1.10.2-12.18.3.2511
Running the pre-built releases from dynmap.us/builds:
Dynmap and DynmapBlockScan build dates of Feb 11
A few things are rendering okay (Forestry Hives, IC2 Rubber Trees) but many blocks are not rendering. Most render as solid black. Lots of block state errors generated from DynmapBlockScan followed by missing asset errors from Dynmap itself.
Bumped the Dynmap version to the 13 Feb build from dynmap.us/builds. Ran a radiusrender from origin to test. Same behavior, and Dynmap still complains about missing assets.
