You have to build, and then install it, otherwise it won't never work.
I have exactly the same problem.
Os: 12.5 Arm64 bits
I followed the installation procedure but i cannot launch the service When i try the command
sudo launchctl bootstrap system /Library/LaunchDaemons/org.webcamoid.cmio.AkVCam.Assistant.plist
I have the following response
Bootstrap failed: 37: Operation already in progress
Summary
AkVCamManager is not producing any output, it does nothing.
Current Behavior
When I execute
./build/AkVirtualCamera.plugin/Contents/Resources/AkVCamManager add-device "Virtual Camera"
it keeps waiting and produces no output.Checked as well with
./build/AkVirtualCamera.plugin/Contents/Resources/AkVCamManager devices
or even just./build/AkVirtualCamera.plugin/Contents/Resources/AkVCamManager
same behavior.Expected Behavior
Getting output from the command, and being able to configure virtual cam.
