www.office.com - Zoom button is not present #104471

Problem type: Something else Description: Zooming in/out of spreadsheet is not available in Firefox, but is in Chrome Steps to Reproduce: On Chrome, there is a button in the bottom right to zoom in and out of spreadsheet, which makes the cells bigger and easier to read. This button does not appear on Firefox. When using a user-agent switcher to Chrome, the buttons appear, but nothing happens when they are clicked.

Left is using a Chrome user agent, right is using the normal Firefox user agent

We appreciate your report. I was able to reproduce the issue. The button is not present:

Tested with:

Browser / Version: Firefox Release 100.0 (64-bit)/ Firefox Nightly 102.0a1 (2022-05-16) (64-bit) /Chrome Version Version 101.0.4951.67 (Official Build) (64-bit) Operating System: Windows 10 PRO x64

Notes:

  1. Reproducible regardless of the status of ETP.
  2. Reproducible on the latest build of Firefox Nightly and Release.
  3. Works as expected using Chrome:

Any idea will this enabled, or only with site agent switcher it will work?

It's silly that they has it on Word, but not in Excel :/

@denschub Hello, I just want to ask, does Microsoft ever look into this problem? Or they just plainly ignore Mozilla engineer request? Thank you

Sorry to come back here, I really need Office Excel with zoom capability in Firefox, and my office laptop ram really only 16gb and with opening edge and firefox at same time with code, it runs out fast.. I just want to use firefox (at work), but this keep pushing me back :')

Please if there are anyone who can get help from Microsoft, please push team to look into this issue :')

seems firefox since 126 already start implement Zoom css ability and now with user agent intervention it will work

Just the content zoom is blurry

Seems there are still need to improve those code, in order to make it work on firefox side..
