www.prudential.com.hk - Firefox is unsupported browser #105184

Browser / Version: Firefox 100.0 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.15 Tested Another Browser: Yes Chrome

Problem type: Something else Description: When Firefox user agent is used, no login is allowed. If chromium browser agent is used, webpage functions normally. Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Visit https://www.prudential.com.hk/scws/member?locale=en
  2. On firefox, the site displays "Your browser is incompatible to myPrudential. Please use latest version of Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge or Apple Safari browser."
  3. On said supported browsers, website functions normally.
  4. On firefox with a user agent of "supported browsers", eg. Edge, website also functions normally.

Thanks for the report, I was able to reproduce the issue. image

Note: The issue is not reproducible on Chrome.

Tested with: Browser / Version: Firefox Nightly 103.0a1 (2022-05-30), Firefox Release 100.0.2 , Firefox 99 (Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:99.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/99.0) Operating System: Windows 10 Pro

On firefox with a user agent of "supported browsers", eg. Edge, website also functions normally.

Let's try to contact the site here and maybe add an override.
