@TinyMito Suggestion: Try clearing cache/data/cookies, disabling add-ons and Ad-blocker (if available) and extensions or use a clean profile, and check again? If there are any changes made to the default settings of the browser (e.g. in about:config) please revert to the default settings and try again. Also, have the required cookies been accepted for this page?

@softvision-raul-bucata

I have reset everything and turned off everything. Same issue.

@TinyMito What I would do usually to test this kind of issue, is:

  1. Type about:profiles in the url bar.
  2. Choose Create a new profile.
  3. Call it deleteme or anything you please.
  4. Then start it. (this way you will be sure that nothing is interfering, no ghost caching etc.)
  5. Test.

I checked the weblog error: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTTP/Status/405

Seems like running into Cross-Origin issue?

@TinyMito Could you please provide the info located in the ADD-ONS section by typing about:support in the URL bar?

TinyMito commented 2 years ago

I don't think that could help, I went it actually deleted and wipe all Firefox directories under "Library" and system any found. That website is still not showing dropdown correctly.

softvision-raul-bucata commented 2 years ago

@TinyMito Could you re-test the issue on the latest build of Firefox Nightly? Also, the requested info from Firefox 102 would be very helpful.

Same issue:

If it is anything on my network that blocks it, it is not the case because on Safari it works:

@TinyMito Could you please provide any relevant data from the console? Any error messages present? @softvision-oana-arbuzov Could you take a look with your Mac device as well, as I am not able to reproduce the issue?

Tested with: Browser / Version: Firefox Nightly 104.0a1 (2022-07-14), Firefox Release 102.0.1 Operating System: Mac OS Monterey v.12.1

Just reported in, and tested on my Windows 11 with Stable Firefox 102. Same issue.

TinyMito commented 2 years ago

Sharing screenshot compares both Safari and Firefox, on Firefox there is no < li > in the codes.

More info, I just simply repeat hit refresh - there is a random chance the dropdown data shows up and sometimes it doesn't.

There are no settings changed during each refresh, it is just random luck that the drop-down will display correctly.

This happens on both macOS and Windows, with stable latest Firefox vanilla.

softvision-raul-bucata commented 2 years ago

@TinyMito Does the latest build of Firefox Nightly exhibit the same behaviour?

[inv_29/2022]

TinyMito commented 2 years ago

Same behaviour, random works and doesn't work after repeating refresh.

@TinyMito I was able to reproduce the issue on a Windows machine. The issue is reproducing randomly (3 times out of 10): Screenshot_17

Tested with:

Browser / Version: Firefox Release 102.0.1 (64-bit)/ Firefox Nightly 104.0a1 (2022-07-19) (64-bit) /Chrome Version Version 103.0.5060.134 (Official Build) (64-bit) Operating System: Windows 10 PRO x64 Operating System: Mac OSX Catalina 10.15.7

Notes:

  1. Reproducible regardless of the status of ETP.
  2. Reproducible on the latest build of Firefox Nightly and Release.
  3. Works as expected using Chrome (10/10 attempts).

Moving this to NeedsDiagnosis for further investigations.
