When I visit the URL, it redirects me to this one:

https://online.bdo.com.ph/sso/login?josso_back_to=https://online.bdo.com.ph/sso/josso_security_check

And when I click on any link after that, the server never seems to actually respond.

I also see that several requests are aborted as I click the link, including a POST request to this URL:

https://online.bdo.com.ph/sso/rb_50e9b2f1-b0e2-4715-9743-be72f589d1a4?type=js3&sn=v_4_srv_1_sn_6FB83BFCB7F6289759A493B07B010EF9_perc_100000_ol_0_mul_1_app-3Aafda7651bda9a5fd_1&svrid=1&flavor=post&vi=ASDQUSKOJKOFRIFROLEHTQQDMAKPRUSV-0&modifiedSince=1662755466539&rf=https%3A%2F%2Fonline.bdo.com.ph%2Fsso%2Flogin%3Fjosso_back_to%3Dhttps%3A%2F%2Fonline.bdo.com.ph%2Fsso%2Fjosso_security_check&bp=3&app=afda7651bda9a5fd&crc=1889965894&en=orejesa5&end=1

But I don't think that's the culprit. I'm not sure how to proceed here, so I've filed bz1790831 to get some insight, with an about:networking log. Let's move this issue there.

wisniewskit commented 2 years ago

Based on the networking log I sent, it looks like the server is just never responding to some requests from Firefox. I'm having trouble testing this even over a VPN, as the site isn't quite working for me right now, but I was hoping to verify two things:

@softvision-oana-arbuzov , could you maybe check and see if you have better luck than I'm having over your own VPN connection?

softvision-oana-arbuzov commented 2 years ago

@wisniewskit I can access the site using VPN pointig to Philippine and the issue still occurs.

Thank you, Valentin also just confirmed on the Bugzilla bug that it seems like the server is not responding properly to Firefox, and we're unable to clearly tell what it is. We need to contact the site to get more information here, but it doesn't seem to be a Firefox bug at this stage.

I don't think there's anything else we can do here but spoof as Chrome, as it's their server which is doing something strange without them.
