www.reddit.com - PageDn overscrolls when viewing posts #111547

Problem type: Something else Description: PageDn overscrolls when viewing posts in "new" design Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Navigate to reddit.com
  2. Open a post with enough replies for multiple pages of scrolling
  3. Press PgDn
  4. Press PgUp

You expect to end up where you started, but you will be three or four lines below the starting point, because the PgDn over-scrolled and took you down by more than a page.

This error does not occur in Microsoft Edge.

As this does not happen on the topic listing, only within the posts, I suspect it is caused by the header bar within the post which shows the up/down vote, topic title, and close button.

Thanks for the report, I was able to reproduce the issue. image

Note: The issue does not occur on Chrome.

Tested with: Browser / Version: Firefox Nightly 107.0a1 (2022-09-27), Firefox Release 105.0.1 Operating System: Windows 10 Pro
