Problem type: Something else Description: Attachment option on this website freezes Firefox Steps to Reproduce: https://www.fiverr.com This is a famous freelancing website, and I am using it on Firefox for ages. However, recently, I noticed whenever I try to attach files on this website in personal messages, the Firefox tab freezes. This issue does not occur on Chrome or Edge browsers. Furthermore, I noticed that just a hover on the attachment button does this. Kindly fix it as early as possible. Thanks.

We appreciate your report but I was not able to reproduce this issue. The tab does not freeze when trying to attach something.

Please try to reproduce this way. While capturing video, I also noticed that when I hit stop, it actually starts working. You can observe the same in video here.

I have also tried by creating a new profile, unfortunately no luck.

Thanks for the extra info, I was able to reproduce it. The page freezes and the browser gradually starts to use more and more memory.

I cannot reproduce this today, hovering over the attachment button when I go to the "post a request" page doesn't freeze anything up on my end. I notice that there was a video explaining different steps to reproduce the problem, but that video seems to be gone now. From the performance profile above, it also looks like this might even have been something the website has since fixed.

@sv-calin, @redifmail are you still seeing this problem? If so could you provide a link to that video again, or the precise steps involved to get to the problem? Thanks!

The issue is still reproducible. The original video attached by redifmail was exactly what I was doing in the video posted on my second comment or you can check the new one:

I'm not quite sure what you mean by "post a request" page but If you have no conversations started yet, you'll have to contact a seller.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Log into your account.
  2. Contact a seller.
  3. Click on the "Messages" icon located at the top of the page.
  4. Click on the contact. (the seller you've contacted, then you'll get redirected to the inbox)
  5. Hover over the "attachment" button located below the text area.

The attachment issue doesn't happen for me.

But nearly every time (a bit better in the last week or so of Nighly updates), it is not possible to click the notifications icon in the top right when logged in. It hangs forever (also already on hover) before the notification list would appear. After a while, the bar appears saying this page is slowing down the browser and the memory usage increases for the corresponding content process. This is on the most recent Nightly version.

Should I open a new issue instead?

Is there anything I can provide to help debug this issue?
