bing.com - bing chat: cannot input multiline when changing the UA to Chrome

What seems to be the trouble? Something else

Steps to Reproduce

1. Use UA switching extension to change the UA to Edge
2. Navigate to: bing.com
3. Start bing chat
4. press Shift+Enter to insert a newline in the input box

Expected Behavior: A newline will be inserted.

Actual Behavior: With the first Shift+Enter press, it inserts a space after the text instead of inserting a new line; then press more Shift+Enter, the input box will be extended but the cursor cannot move below.

Chrome works fine.

@bczhc Thanks for the report. It seems that an extension is being used. Does the issue reproduce without the extension?

Without the plugin, bing chat won't be loaded, saying Edge browser is required .

@bczhc We appreciate your report, but this is not a Compatibility issue, it is related to Add-ons.

It can't be an extension issue because it happens regardless of which extension you use. The website is just broken on Firefox, no matter which way of changing your user agent you use.

@denschub Changing the user agent in Firefox from about:config indeed shows the issue. Can we class this as a valid webcompat bug?

So obsolete the issue is, Bing chat has changed a lot. I just close this.
