@softvision-raul-bucata I get high CPU and GPU usage when any animation is existed on the plot. I make a profiled dump.

softvision-raul-bucata commented 1 year ago

@IRainman Thanks for that, but we also need the steps to reproduce the issue. Does it happen on the main page, after performing account login and some operations, or when performing specific operations on the page? If the issue reproduces when performing specific operations, please provide more context on how to replicate the issue.

@softvision-raul-bucata You probably need to try to use this board https://miro.com/app/board/uXjVM_pl3Xo=/ I'm not sure how to share this properly.

softvision-raul-bucata commented 1 year ago

@IRainman Thanks for the extra info. Unfortunately, special access is needed to view that specific board: Screenshot_1

Our boards show no performance issues when animation is present.

@IRainman Suggestion: Try clearing cache/data/cookies, disabling add-ons and Ad-blocker (if available) and extensions or use a clean profile, and check again? If there are any changes made to the default settings of the browser (e.g. in about:config) please revert to the default settings and try again. Also, have the required cookies been accepted for this page?

@softvision-raul-bucata I give you the access, in fact the Firefox is many slowly than Chromium based browsers.

P. S. On the biggest board Firefox is only shown a white board and system load is going to 100%, unfortunately it's used by my partner and protected by NDA from her work.

softvision-raul-bucata commented 1 year ago

@IRainman Thanks for that. The CPU usage is quite the same, but the GPU usage is significantly higher when using Firefox compared to Chrome when following https://miro.com/app/board/uXjVM_pl3Xo=/. This is best observed when zooming on the page is performed.

We appreciate your report. I was able to reproduce the issue.

Tested with:

Browser / Version: Firefox Release 114.0.2 (64-bit)/ Firefox Nightly 116.0a1 (2023-07-02) (64-bit) /Chrome Version 114.0.5735.199 (Official Build) (64-bit) Operating System: Windows 10 PRO x64

Notes:

  1. Reproducible regardless of the status of ETP.
  2. Reproducible on the latest build of Firefox Nightly and Release.
  3. Works as expected using Chrome.

Moving this to NeedsDiagnosis for further investigations.
