Problem type: Site is not usable Description: Page not loading correctly Steps to Reproduce: Using a shopping website, at the shopping cart options I choose Paypal.
A pop-up window appears.
The popup dialog window connects to paypal and the 'load' screen is shown, there's initial text activity in lower left (TLS handshake etc) but becomes stuck on that loading screen with a cycling cycle symbol.
Closing the dialog and re-clicking the paypal button back on the original shopping website keeps returning the same incomplete loading screen on the popup dialog window.
It is fixed by manually going into Firefox's Settings > Privacy and Security > Cookies and Site Data > Manage Data > Searching 'paypal' and then deleting all entries for paypal.
Once this is done, and I click the paypal button on the shopping website, the popup dialog works within 5-10 seconds, asking for username etc.
I imagine the loading screen gets stuck because there's some code saying I've previously verified myself on paypal on this computer, and it's therefore wanting me to skip the username and authentication process, but the "second part" of the coding/cookie to allow that is incomplete or unavailable, so it just gets stuck in that loading cycle screen. Removing the paypal site related cookies must stop that first pre-authentication step from being initiated.
