Here is a link that should let anyone check for the issue without having an account : http://navidrome.betschi.duckdns.org/share/Bw5Gu4hQHl#/
I have disabled addons and tried in incognito mode as well and the issue persist.
@oliverbm67 Thanks for the extra info. Indeed, accessing the audio file from:http://navidrome.betschi.duckdns.org/share/Bw5Gu4hQHl#/ shows the issue. The audio is distorted.

I've got a similar issue here https://github.com/webcompat/web-bugs/issues/129951
URL: https://navidrome.betschi.duckdns.org
Browser / Version: Firefox 119.0 Operating System: Linux Tested Another Browser: Yes Other
Problem type: Video or audio doesn't play Description: There is no audio Steps to Reproduce: I have a personal sound server using navidrome. Recently, some of the WAV files do not play properly anymore, the audio is highly distorted, sounds a little bit like 8-bit music.
Firefox on Linux and Android is affected : I checked version 118 and 119 on Linux and both are affected. Version 106 of Firefox on Linux is working fine. Android version 119 is also affected. The issue is not present in Chromium. The issue is also not present in Firefox 119 on Windows.
Downloading the wav files and playing them on the same computer confirmed the file is fine. Using FFMPEG transcoding to convert (on the server) the wav file to mp3 format provide a functional mp3 audio file.
This does not affect all WAV files though. Here are some info of an affected file extracted with FFMPEG : [wav @ 0x561ec1f2d1c0] Discarding ID3 tags because more suitable tags were found.
