github.com - Dragging pinned repos does not work #129093

Browser / Version: Firefox 121.0 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.15 Tested Another Browser: Yes Safari

Problem type: Site is not usable Description: Buttons or links not working Steps to Reproduce: The "pinned" repo on github profile page has a button (six dots) for dragging on the left upper conner. But when I try to drag this button, it just not move. Should I enable any feature or ?

@levihuayuzhang Thanks for the report. Can you please provide a screen rec of the issue reproducing and steps to reproduce, as we are missing some settings in the GitHub account?

sry for I'm not not good at recording screen. But I can be more specificly:

  1. login github account
  2. go to my profile page
  3. pin some of my repo on main page of profile page
  4. drag the little box (consists with six dots) to move and re-order the pins
  5. the boxes of repo card should move with cursor, but in the firefox (stable, dev, nightly) not move at all (works in chrome and safari)

Seems not only happed in Mac, I tried with Firefox nightly dev on Ubuntu, also not working.

Thanks for the extra info. I was able to reproduce the issue by following the steps to reproduce, when at least 3 repos are added from the "Customize your pins" option:

Tested with:

Browser / Version: Firefox Release 119.0 (64-bit)/ Firefox Nightly 121.0a1 (2023-10-30) (64-bit) /Chrome Version 118.0.5993.118 (Official Build) (64-bit) Operating System: Windows 10 PRO x64

Notes:

  1. Reproducible regardless of the status of ETP.
  2. Reproducible on the latest build of Firefox Nightly and Release.
  3. Works as expected using Chrome.
