Browser / Version: Firefox Mobile 124.0 Operating System: Android 14 Tested Another Browser: Yes Chrome

Problem type: Something else Description: After a fairly long loading delay, FF on Android 6.0 (updated yesterday) crashes back to home screen every time. Steps to Reproduce: Page loads fine in Chrome. I guess this is UI 6. That's the number I recall from yesterday. It might be a slow load of the embedded video that causes the freeze to black then a dump back to the Android home screen. FF is still running and I can bring it back, switch into the failed tab, and the whole thing repeats.

Thank you for reporting this issue, I was able to reproduce it. The page never finishes loading and some videos get displayed only after leaving the window open for a long time.

Tested on: • Browser / Version: Firefox Nightly 125.0a1-20240305094850 / Firefox Beta 124.0-20240304091753 / Firefox Release 123.0.1-20240304104836 / Chrome 122.0.6261.64 • Operating System: Google Pixel 5 (Android 14) - 1080 x 2340 pixels, 19.5:9 ratio (~432 ppi density)

Notes:

  1. Reproducible on Firefox Release, Beta and Nightly (regardless of the ETP status)
  2. Not reproducible on Chrome
