Problem type: Video or audio doesn't play Description: The video or audio does not play Steps to Reproduce: When I'm on a meeting on Google meet, I can share another window (with a YouTube video, for example). And even though the other participants can see the video, they can't hear any audio. I tried to do it on Google Chrome and it works normally (only when I sharescreen on another tab, not another window). I would like to be able to do the same, which I used to, but on Firefox. Thank you.

Thank you for reporting this issue, I was able to reproduce it. On Firefox we don't have the option to select to share the tab audio. In Chrome this thing is possible.

Tested on: • Browser / Version: Firefox Nightly 125.0a1 (2024-03-13) / Firefox Release 123.0.1 / Chrome 122.0.6261.129 • Operating System: Windows 10

Notes:

1. Reproducible on both Firefox Release and Nightly
2. Reproducible regardless of settings of Enhanced Tracking Protection
3. Not reproducible on Chrome.

For me on macOS 14.3.1 when share a window (QuickTime video e.g. https://samplelib.com/sample-mp4.html): Firefox 125.0 - video plays but no audio for particpants Safari 17.3.1 - can't share video at all, nothing happens Chrome 124.0.6367.8 - video plays but no audio for particpants

For me on macOS 14.3.1 when share a tab (e.g. YouTube): Firefox 125.0 - no option to share another tab, only a window or screen Safari 17.3.1 - no option to share another tab, only a window or screen Chrome 124.0.6367.8 - can share a tab, video plays and audio works for participants
