Problem type: Something else Description: devtools grid highlighter is shifted because of iframe Steps to Reproduce:

  1. open devtools, elements tab
  2. click on grid button near of element with class name starts with "product-brief-moduleskeleton" (footer)
  3. screen resolution should be > 1280
  4. grid highlighter is shifted relative to target element

Thanks for the report. I can not see any visual differences on the page. @krutoo Cam you please provide a screen rec?

Tested with:

Browser / Version: Firefox Release 124.0.2 (64-bit) Operating System: Ubuntu 22.4 LTS x64

Suggestion: Try clearing cache/data/cookies, disabling add-ons and Ad-blocker (if available) and extensions or use a clean profile, and check again? If there are any changes made to the default settings of the browser (e.g. in about:config) please revert to the default settings and try again. Also, have the required cookies been accepted for this page?

I also remove all history, cookies and disable all extensions for incognito

@krutoo Thanks for that. Indeed, there is a difference compared to Chrome, following your video.

Tested with:

Browser / Version: Firefox Release 124.0.2 (64-bit)/ Firefox Nightly 126.0a1 (2024-04-11) (64-bit) /Chrome Version 123.0.6312.106(Official Build) (64-bit) Operating System: Windows 10 PRO x64 Operating System: Ubuntu 22.4 LTS x64

Notes:

  1. Reproducible regardless of the status of ETP.
  2. Reproducible on the latest build of Firefox Nightly and Release.
  3. Works as expected using Chrome.
