www.grimtools.com - Unable to undo the searched item after closing and re-opening the items window #135287

Problem type: Something else Description: Firefox forgets undo history between opening and closing search form Steps to Reproduce: The gear selection form in the Grim Tools calc (openable by clicking on any inventory slot) has a search field that filters results. The undo history (ctrl + z or ctrl + y) is not preserved in Firefox between opening and closing this form.

Since searching and selecting gear via the filters is a central feature of this site, and designing builds is a central part of the game, I end up using Chromium for this site.

Also occurs on Firefox (Nightly) on Windows, but the bug report form doesn't seem to have a way to express this.

I realized I didn't add explicit steps to reproduce, so:

  1. Open https://www.grimtools.com/calc/
  2. Click on an inventory slot to open the form
  3. Type something in the search field
  4. Close the form
  5. Open the form again and press ctrl + z or ctrl + y to undo/redo.

Expected behavior: Undo hotkeys cycle through history since loading the entire page. Actual behavior: History is only remembered since last opening the form.
