Problem type: Site is not usable Description: Buttons or links not working Steps to Reproduce: When installed as and then opened as an app:

• browser back button does not work at all
• browser sometimes just 'vanishes' during scrolling (seemingly minimised, not crashed)
• sometimes gets in a state where os surrounds (notification bar at top, is navigation buttons at bottom) are constantly flickering between light and dark.

None of these problems seem to affect the non-app version of the website in Firefox, or Chrome's version of the app.

Thank you for reporting this issue, I was able to reproduce some of the issue for the homescreen version of the websites. The flickering and the Back button issues seem to happen as described, however, I was not able to reproduce the scrolling one.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Open the website.
2. Click on Add to Homescreen.
3. Open the website from the Homescreen.
4. Observe the result.

Tested on: • Firefox Release 125.0-20240419144423/Firefox Nightly 127.0a1-20240425094116/Chrome 123.0.6367.82 • Operating System: Pixel 7 (Android 14) -1080px × 1920px 20:9 aspect ratio (~416 ppi density)

Notes:

1. Reproducible on both Firefox Release and Nightly
2. Not reproducible on Chrome.
3. Reproducible regardless of settings of Enhanced Tracking Protection
