We appreciate your report but I was not able to reproduce this issue. I was able to search for people without any issues.
Tested on: • Browser / Version: Firefox Release 129 • Operating System: Windows 10
Suggestions: • Clear cache/data/cookies, disable Ad-blocker (if available), or create a new profile (without syncing/importing data) and check again • If there are any changes made to the default settings of the browser (e.g. in about:config), please revert to the default settings
How to create a new profile:
Note: You can return to your old profile at any given time by accessing "about:profiles" in the address bar

Browser / Version: Firefox 129.0 Operating System: Windows 10 Tested Another Browser: Yes Edge
Problem type: Something else Description: I have used older versions of Firefox on Ancestry for about 10 years. Now the screen freezes when searching for people and the whole computer freezes, requiring a re-start. Steps to Reproduce: I have used Firefox successfully for many years. About 18 months ago, I could not move around the family tree diagram on screen—the image and the computer froze, requiring a restart. I discussed this with Ancestry support, which could not help. I tried all the usual suspects—deleting cookies and cache. I tried Edge, and all functions were restored. The Firefox problem persists with newer versions
