www.youtube.com - video or audio doesn't play #140737

Browser / Version: Firefox 129.0 Operating System: Windows 10 Tested Another Browser: Yes Edge

Problem type: Video or audio doesn't play Description: There is no audio Steps to Reproduce: If the video is already loaded and I changed the output device resuming the video will play the audio on the previous output device instead of the newly selected one.

For example if I was playing a video and the audio was coming from my speaker and switched to my headphone the audio will continue playing on the speaker unless I close the tab and reopen it. the issue does not happens with chromium browsers like Edge and Vivaldi

We appreciate your report but I was not able to reproduce this issue. I was able to play the audio as expected:

Tested on: • Browser / Version: Firefox Release 129.0.2 • Operating System: Windows 10

Suggestions: • Clear cache/data/cookies, disable Ad-blocker (if available), or create a new profile (without syncing/importing data) and check again • If there are any changes made to the default settings of the browser (e.g. in about:config), please revert to the default settings
