(i suspect this may just need to be moved to core... trying to play an individual .ts file will fail because it won't have the right auth session)

And fwiw this is playing on macos RDM + Firefox Android UA.

on mobile when I tap once, the video seems to initialize without starting and the rest of the UI is kind of frozen, no tap is working anymore. The scroll is till working though. Ah it even crashed firefox in some ways.

yeah I can reproduce each time it freezes all tabs of the browser I need to restart the full OS. Quitting Firefox and restarting it doesn't solve anything.
