Thanks for the report! I'm able to reproduce the issue.

Tested with: Browser / Version: Firefox Nightly 72.0a1 (2019-11-21) Operating System: Windows 10 Pro

Given this is facebook.

  1. They probably know about the issue, they have set the message.
  2. We can contact them on the mailing list
  3. @softvision-sergiulogigan Could you double check that this is still not working when faking the ua to be chromm.

@karlcow I just retested, and it seems that in order to share screens, a Chrome extension is needed.

So it's not working on FF with Chrome UA, because we don't have that extension available.

so I guess that makes the issue in between a wontfix or asking facebook why the extension is not available for Firefox. Let's put this on the contactready pile.

The issue has been fixed, screen sharing works now. image

Tested with: Browser / Version: Firefox Nightly 97.0a1 (2022-01-06) Operating System: Windows 10 Pro, Ubuntu 20.04.2

Closing the issue as Fixed.
