Problem type: Something else Description: Clipboard problem Steps to Reproduce: The problem of copying and pasting pictures in «Telegram» application. In other messengers it was not checked. Re-loading the image using «application/x-moz-file-promise-url», which creates an application freeze and additional network activity until it is fully downloaded from the source. Also, the inaccessibility of inserting images from the resource «www.pixiv.net» is manifested. In the stable version of the browser and beta is not noticed.

Changing «browser.tabs.remote.enforceRemoteTypeRestrictions» to «false» temporarily solves the problem.

Thanks for the report. Unfortunately I'm not able to open Telegram Web app (tried with 2 valid phone numbers and the code is not sent).

I've checked in Hangouts web app, Facebook messenger and copied the URL (http://joy.reactor.cc/post/4374029)/copied the image location (http://img10.reactor.cc/pics/post/Quuni-Anime-Art-artist-AO-5949902.png)/ copied the image and then pasted in the app. I did not experience any freezes or app being unresponsive. image

I've also checked with images from https://www.pixiv.net/en/artworks/29182021.

Note: If I use "Copy image" and try to paste on the address bar, the "Paste" button is disabled (this behavior is not encountered in Chrome) image

Tested with: Browser / Version: Firefox Nightly 79.0a1 (2020-06-04) Operating System: Windows 10 Pro

@karlcow do you have access to Telegram app to check the behavior there?

Problem is completely resolved by changing the option «privacy.partition.network_state» to «false». I’ll close the ticket in a couple of days. Address with current changes to browser nightly builds: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1639154

no access to telegram app. I do not have a mobile phone number. 😃
