We appreciate your report. I was not able to reproduce the issue. I was able to add the page using the PWA feature, and upon creating a clean profile, the page opens as expected:

Tested with: Browser / Version: Firefox Beta 90.0.0-beta.1 ( 2015813915 🦎90.0-20210601190019🦎) Operating System: Samsung A51 (Android 11) -1080 × 2400 pixels 20:9 aspect ratio (~405 ppi density)

Suggestion: Try clearing cache/data/cookies, disable Ad-blocker (if available), or use a clean profile, and check again? If there are any changes made to the default settings of the browser (e.g. in about: config) please revert to the default settings and try again. Also, have the required cookies been accepted for this page?

Isn't that just a shortcut to the site though? When using Chromium based browsers it creates a proper PWA, which also properly displays separately from the browser in the recent list. For Firefox, when it usually detects PWA is available it will show up as "Install" instead of "Add to Home screen". Tapping on the shortcut opens within the browser instead of it's own instance.

@Yahiroz this is intended behaviour, for the moment, coming from Firefox. As PWA is a browser feature, we would recommend submitting an issue/feature request here -> https://github.com/mozilla-mobile/fenix/issues/new/choose regarding this issue, as it is the appropriate place for this sort of features/issues.
