URL: https://events.peergalaxy.com

Browser / Version: Firefox 91.0 Operating System: Windows 10 Tested Another Browser: Yes Chrome

Problem type: Something else Description: Loads event in reverse sort order!? Steps to Reproduce: Events display reverse sort order, versus on Chrome, goes alphabetically. Tried various changes as far as events go, different start dates, etc. but this seems to be persistent with Firefox; cleared cache, reloaded, rebooted, restarted, etc.

We appreciate your report. I was able to reproduce the issue. The events are presented in descending order (based on the number at the beginning of each event):

Screenshot_28

Tested with:

Browser / Version: Firefox Release 91.0 (64-bit)/ Firefox Nightly 93.0a1 (2021-08-31) (64-bit)/Chrome Version 92.0.4515.159 (Official Build) (64-bit) Operating System: Windows 10 PRO x64

Notes:

  1. Reproducible regardless of the status of ETP
  2. Reproducible on the latest build of Firefox Nightly
  3. Works as expected using Chrome: Screenshot_29

Moving this to NeedsDiagnosis for further investigations.

And this is the result using Chrome: Screenshot_52

The events are presented in descending order (based on the number at the beginning of each event):

Ooooh! I was looking at the dates. Not this number. but I don't understand why there is an expectation of order based on this number?

Note that it is also not ordered numerically in Safari Capture d’écran 2022-03-17 à 14 59 30

and the same happens in Chromium Edge.

Maybe the best way to compare is to put things on one column.

I get 00. 01. 01. 02. 02. 03. 01 on Safari/Chromium I get 02. 02. 01. 01. 00. 03. 01 on Firefox.

They use https://github.com/wynfred/ngx-masonry by @wynfred which itself uses https://github.com/desandro/masonry by @desandro

it seems to be a duplicate of https://github.com/desandro/masonry/issues/871 which proposes this as a solution. https://github.com/desandro/masonry/pull/811

So not really a webcompat issue but more a known platform difference

Site could be contacted.
