We appreciate your report. I was able to reproduce the issue. Firefox is an unsupported browser:

Screenshot_6

Notes:

  1. Reproducible regardless of the status of ETP
  2. Reproducible on the latest build of Firefox Nightly
  3. Works as expected using Safari: Screenshot_7

Tested with: Browser/Version: Safari 15.0/ Firefox Daylight 39.0 (6519) Operating System: iOS 15.0

Moving this to NeedsDiagnosis for further investigations.

This browser is not supported by Service Portal Compatible browsers include IE10+ and up-to-date versions of Safari, Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox. This browser is: Mobile Safari, Release: null

This is done server side. A Safari UA will solve it.

This is part of Service Now and there are more sites that are affected, for example https://github.com/webcompat/web-bugs/issues/75419, https://github.com/webcompat/web-bugs/issues/85373. But ultimately, the impact is unknown as this is a popular platform.

As @ServiceNow is on GitHub maybe @4np @chiarnglin can help us here. Hi Chiarng and Jeroen, we came across a few reports where Service Now is showing unsupported message for Firefox on iOS, and are wondering if there is a reason for blocking Firefox, but allowing Safari. Would you be able to pass this along to the relevant person or team to be looked at? Thank you!

I think we can close this issue. This site no longer says Firefox iOS is unsupported.
