URL: https://at.wikimannia.org/Don_Alphonso

Browser / Version: Firefox Mobile 95.0 Operating System: Android 9 Tested Another Browser: Yes Chrome

Problem type: Site is not usable Description: Buttons or links not working Steps to Reproduce: Links to references in Wikipedia are often not accessible. That means the link in the little popup does not open or the popup is not fully displayed at all.

Try https://de.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/MRNA-1273 with the second reference or with the 8th link below the image in the originally referenced sample website.

Seems to be a common problem. I also noticed, that I can not confirm cookie warnings on twitter for example.

I think this has been misunderstood. I am talking about the references AND NOT the wikilinks. Step through the references [1], [2], [3],... And try to open the references in the popup.

Please reopen @softvision-raul-bucata

@RandomUser0815 Thank you for the extra info. Are you using the Focus version of Firefox?

RandomUser0815 commented 2 years ago

Yes, I am using the german language version of Firefox focus (now Version 95.1.0).

The problem exists for various websites, that popups are not accessible anymore.

Open taz.de and try to answer the popup "ja, ich will". You will see, that it does not work anymore.

We appreciate your report. I was able to reproduce the issue using Firefox Focus, but not on the latest Firefox Nightly. Since this is an issue that is specific to Firefox Focus, this issue will be moved into the relevant project, specific for the browser. Please refer to: https://github.com/mozilla-mobile/focus-android/issues/6021 for future updates and workarounds.

Tested with: Browser / Version: Firefox Nightly 96.0a1 (2015850411 -🦎96.0a1-20211203094816🦎)/ Firefox Focus 95.1.0 (353350148 -🦎95.0.20211129150630) Operating System: Samsung A51 (Android 11) -1080 × 2400 pixels 20:9 aspect ratio (~405 ppi density)

@RandomUser0815 Since the issue is not reproducible on the latest Firefox version and the reported issue is specific to the above-mentioned project, this will be closed as MOVED. For the twitter issue, since it is related to the FOCUS browser, please submit the issue here along with all the relevant info, as it might be related to: https://github.com/mozilla-mobile/focus-android/issues/5998, and a meta bug might be created by the team of the said project.
